Palak Paneer

One of the most famous, tasty and healthy dish of India which is easy to prepare. Palak paneer is also called a spinach paneer.

Paneer, Spinach, Green chillies, Red chilli powder, Onions, Ginger garlic paste, ghee

Preperation steps
  • Clean and wash palak (spinach) nicely.

  • Boil the spinach with lilltle waster in micro oven and cool it.

  • Now mash it with 3 to 4 green chillies in a mixer.

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add add onions and fry till golden brown.

  • Now add ginger-garlic paste and stir-fry for a minute.

  • Add garam masala, a pinch of turmeric, and half table spoon of coriander powder except red chili powder.

  • Now add the spinach (palak) and little water if needed and cook for 4-5 minutes.

  • Paneer can be fried to golden brown in a separate pan(optional)

  • Cut paneer into pieces .

  • Add Paneer pieces to the gravy and cook until done.

  • Take out in a bowl.

  • Just before serving, heat pure ghee in a small pan, add chili powder and pour on the palak paneer. immediately(optional)

  • Garnish with fresh onions and coriander.

  • Can be served with rice or parata.
